CERTIFICATIONS

The ISO 9001 - 2015

It is the international certifiable standard that regulates Quality Management Systems (QMS). The ISO 9000 series of standards promotes the adoption of a process-based approach and is regularly audited by external certified entities. At FSCR this certification is integrated into the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System (SIGCA).

The ISO 14001 - 2015

The ISO 14001 2015 standard is a framework to protect the environment and respond to all environmental conditions, it reaches a balance under the socioeconomic needs, this being its main objective. It is necessary to comply with the different environmental objectives that each company has and is periodically audited by certified external entities. At FSCR this certification is integrated into the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System (SIGCA).

UL (Underwriters Laboratories)

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is a consulting company that offers safety-related certification, validation, testing, inspection, auditing, consulting and training to manufacturers, retailers, policy makers, regulators, service companies and consumers. FSCR has several certifications that cover the vast majority of its professional lighting and electrical conduit products.

The Official Mexican Standards (NOM)

The Official Mexican Standards (NOM) are mandatory technical regulations that establish specifications and procedures to guarantee that products, processes and services comply with minimum requirements for information, safety, quality, among others. Several of FSCR's lighting products are certified to this standard.

The ETL certification mark

Intertek's ETL certification mark indicates that the product has been tested by an independent NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) laboratory or accredited by local authorities, under the technical guidelines of different regions regarding electrical safety. Some FSCR specialty lighting products have this certification.

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is the directive 2011/65 / EU of the Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances of the European Union that limits the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electrical and electronic equipment. The components used by FSCR in its products have this certification.

LABORATORY

Sylvania has the only private laboratory in Central America in which they carry out all the necessary tests to ensure the quality and efficiencies of their products, among the tests carried out are:
1IP Dust
In this camera, 2 degrees of IP of the first characteristic digit (solid particles) can be carried out, which are IP5X and IP6X, according to IEC 60529 and IEC60598-1 standards. These tests serve to verify protection against ingress of dust.
2IP Damp
In this room, 6 degrees of IP of the second characteristic digit (water) can be made, ranging from IPX3 to IPX8, according to IEC 60529 and IEC60598-1 standards. IPX3 and IPX4 are carried out with the arc, IPX5 and IPX6 with the hoses and finally IPX7 and IPX8 are carried out in the tank. These tests serve to corroborate the protection against the ingress of water.
3Vibration
With this table you can perform the vibration test in 2 axes (X and Y). The ANSI C136.31 standard is used as a reference. The vibration force is usually 1.5 G for normal use and 3 G if the use is for bridges or underpasses.
4Saline Chamber
It is used for a salt spray test in which the sample is exposed to a highly corrosive environment, thus, it is corroborated if the material or paint is affected by this type of environment. The test method is according to ASTM B117-97.
5 Temperature
High temperature tests can be carried out in this chamber. By means of thermocouples, a graph of the temperature behavior in the different elements of the luminaire can be made, in addition, it allows to know the effect of temperature on electrical and photometric parameters. LM-80 tests can be performed.
6 IK tests
This test serves to corroborate the degree of protection against mechanical impacts. The laboratory can test from grade IK07 to grade IK10, according to IEC 62262 and IEC 60068-275 standards.
7 Photometry

Goniophotometer:
With the goniophotometer, a large number of photometric parameters and light distribution parameters of the luminaires can be obtained, such as: luminous flux, correlated color temperature, color rendering index, and light distribution. It also allows you to obtain the IES files for rendering software.

Photometric sphere:
The sphere, as well as the goniophotometer, allows obtaining photometric parameters, however, it is used for small luminaires or bare light sources. The test method is according to the IES LM-79 standard.
8 Electrical tests

Current leakage:
It lets you know how much current is draining through the ground.

Insulation resistance:
As its name indicates, we can know what the resistance of an insulation is. It is similar to an Ohmmeter.

Grounding resistance:
It allows to know the resistance in the earth with a method similar to Wenner.

Electrostatic discharge:
This equipment allows generating electrostatic discharges to a housing either by contact or by arc a small electric arc.

Electrical transients:
It allows to generate electrical transients of up to 5 kV.

Peaks:
This equipment is used to generate peaks in the line, neutral or earth of up to 12 kV.
